This October, California-based LF opened at West Village. Located across from Starbucks between Epic Apparel and Lilli London, LF has become the must have destination for many fashionistas who crave upcoming trends on the fashion circuit. The brand has become well known for their innovative trends, variety and assortment, and personalized styling sessions. With a passion for cutting edge looks the new shop will constantly receive new and innovative product. We met with Mariel Furst from the national LF store team to hear more about the West Village shop.

Definitely individualistic. We want our customers to be able to express themselves through style.
What encouraged your team to open your first store in Texas?
We have a lot of customers that have shopped with us that are from the Dallas area, so it seemed like a natural decision to be our next location. The vibe in Dallas really excites us, and we are happy to be a part of the community.
What is the must-have piece from LF this fall?
Vintage inspired pieces are no doubt on the top of our list this fall. Whether it be a piece of jewelry, or a fabulous item for your wardrobe. We are also loving oversized cardigans. They are a perfect mix of comfort and style.
Will the limited edition shoes from the LF collaboration lines with Senso and Jeffrey Campbell be sold at the West Village store?
Yes, a new special group of limited edition shoes from LF x Senso and LF x Jeffrey Campbell were designed just for LF's Fall/Winter '11 season, and they will be featured in the West Village store. We are in love!

Our store playlist is a mix of Foster the People, Kanye West and Jay-Z, Ke$ha, Afrojack, Girl Talk, and Katy Perry.
